It's About The Client: "Do With, Not For"... Assessment and Care Plan Review

This online event is for Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) Service Providers.

Doing with, not for: Involves a cultural shift from a model that may have fostered dependence to one that actively promotes independence. It involves working in a manner that assists but does not take over tasks that a person can do for themselves.

In this workshop we will explore this idea and provide an opportunity to share how service level assessment and care plans are managed in a way that maximises the client’s choice and independence. We will also demonstrate how the model links to The Charter of Aged Care Rights and the current Aged Care Quality Standards.
